Diemme Marostica low

Italian footwear brand Diemme hails out of Montebelluna, where shoes have been made since 1870. The area in & around Montebelluna is widely regarded as one of the premier places for manufacturing of performance footwear; 75% of the worlds ski boots are manufactured here.

Dennis & Marco, the founders of Diemme, had been working in Montebelluna's shoe industry for the biggest part of their lives when they decided in 1992 to start their own company. Focussing on premium materials & the local artisanal craftmanship, Diemme started out creating high quality shoes for trekking, hunting & high mountain climbing.

The brand has since it's exposure in Japan begun making footwear for a more fashion minded consumer, yet still maintaining the same level of handcrafted quality & attention to detail.

Here's a closer look at the three colorways we've recieved of Diemme's new model Marostica Low. It is a Mountain boot fused sneaker, incorporating classic mountaineer style metal hook lacing with vinage low profile sneaker soles. The result is in our minds an amazing shoe, catering to both our needs of some that feels fresh & new & at the same time like a true classic. The Marostica Low maintains the sense of quality we've come to expect from Diemme, created in the finest Italian suede & nappa leather available & built up using super comfortable cushioned inner soles & lined with supple smooth pig skin.
